Our next Staff Spotlight goes to Corie Hackett, Life Skills Teacher at North Mason High School!
Here are just a couple reasons why Corie was nominated:
"Corie is a favorite teacher of most students, mainly due to her calm and caring nature. Her goal is to bring out the most in her students! While remaining current with the latest instructional strategies and technologies, she can still reach a troubled or struggling student with simple, yet profound motherly instincts and empathy coupled with complete professionalism. She is highly organized, reliable, and seeks out feedback in the role of a Building Instructional Leadership Team member which has benefited her department."
"Corie’s position often goes unnoticed by those in the building and as with all SpEd teachers it is complex. There are many, many things that make Corie worth nomination and recognition. None more important than how she cares very much for the students she works with every day. When you see the way that Corie works with any student you see a person who is loving and compassionate. She believes that her students can achieve great things by knowing their potential she challenges them and celebrates the wins. Her cheerful smile and laugh are contagious. It’s a tough job but she is rocking it!"
Thank you Corie Hackett for your hard work and dedication!
