SNOW & ICE

  • A decision will be made to Cancel, 2 hr Delay start time or Transition to Remote Instruction by 6 am.
  • Schools may run on normal time but will be on Snow Routes.
  • During Remote Instruction, students will access their learning both synchronous and asynchronously.
  • During Remote Instruction, a decision will be made by noon regarding extracurricular activities.
  • Remote Instruction and late start will count as a school day and will not be required to make it up at the end of the school year.
  • NMSD would need to apply for a waiver to the state for the missed day(s); if the waiver is not granted, the impacted school(s) may be required to make-up the day(s) at the end of the school year.
