Grounds Maintenance Laborer
Primarily responsible for maintaining the general appearance of exterior landscaping, emptying trash cans, weeding landscaped garden beds, and mowing small areas. May work independently or under direction of more experienced worker. High school diploma or GED required. Must be able to perform physical aspects of the job.
Custodian
Maintains cleanliness within building and immediate vicinity around building. Responsibilities include sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming, straightening furniture, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, refilling dispensers. High school diploma or GED required. Must have valid Washington State Driver’s License and be able to perform the physical aspects of the job.
Secretary 1
Performs clerical duties for the management of office area. Must be able to follow well defined procedures and instructions in support of the daily administrative office needs of the supervisor. Receives and directs telephone calls, as well as process incoming mail. May perform health room duties and other related duties as required. High school diploma or GED required. Must observe strict confidentiality regarding student and personnel information.
Classroom Teacher
Certificated classroom teachers demonstrate competence in designing and conducting an instructional experience utilizing effective teaching practices. Clearly and intentionally focuses subject matter content and curriculum while fostering and managing a safe, positive learning environment. Must possess excellent classroom control and ability to motivate students. Valid WA State Teaching Certificate required. Must observe strict confidentiality regarding student and personnel information.
Paraeducator
Under direction of classroom teacher, this position performs a variety of duties that provide general classroom assistance to students with the possibility of individual and small group instruction. May accompany students as necessary throughout school premises. High school diploma or GED required. Two years of college level courses, or AA degree, or evidence of core competencies certification from a recognized higher education institution, or satisfactory completion of state test. Must observe strict confidentiality regarding student and personnel information.
Activity Assistant
Supervises playground for lunch and recess and enforces safety regulations and fair play; assures that children do not leave school grounds without permission. Assists in the supervision of cafeteria and other areas where students eat lunch. May assist in lunch line. Must possess good judgment and the ability to work well with students and staff. High school diploma or GED required. Must observe strict confidentiality regarding student and personnel information.
Transportation
Transports students to and from school on designated routes and/or trips. Responsibilities include student behavior and discipline while on bus, daily bus checks to ensure operational safety, ability to drive in inclement weather. High school diploma or GED required. Must possess a valid Washington State driver’s license, Washington State School Bus Driver’s Certificate and First Aid card. Must observe strict confidentiality regarding student and personnel information.
