Hilary Gennaro has been teaching English, Theater, Dance - and most recently Orchestra - at North Mason High School for nearly two years. Prior to starting her position at North Mason she taught private music lessons in piano, voice, violin and guitar for sixteen years in locations such as conservatories and lesson studios. She also had a wonderful time developing a music curriculum for students from birth to 6 years of age called Music Explorers during her time teaching at Midwest Music Conservatory in St. Louis, MO. She attended Whitman College where she obtained her degree in English with a minor in Music. For much of her life she has also been a professional touring and recording musician and singer-songwriter. Currently, Hilary is working on obtaining her master's degree in Secondary Education. She and her husband have two fur babies (a Boston Terrier and a French Bulldog) and perform music together.
