The U.S. Department of Education's mission is to:

Office of the Education Ombudsman (OEO)
The office of the Education Ombudsman provides information and referral services to students, families and communities regarding the public education system, promotes family and community involvement in education, and helps families and students resolve conflict with schools. Visit the OEO website.

Parent/Teacher Communication
Teachers in the North Mason School District welcome parent input and support in their children’s education and value communication with parents. Each teacher has a phone listing (see below), as well as voice and email accounts in the event they are not available when you call as they may be attending meetings, supervising students, or teaching class. Requests to meet or have a phone conversation outside of the work day can also be arranged with individual teachers.
