Our school day begins at 9:15 a.m. and is completed at 3:30 p.m. Students should arrive for breakfast at 9:00. Students should arrive at their classrooms at 9:10.

Remember to check our Emergency Infopage and select North Mason SD if we experience bad weather in our area, to see if there is a School Delay or Closure.

On Saturday, May 3, 4 teams from Belfair Elementary participated in the Washington State Mathematics Council’s Math Olympiad.  The event was held on Bainbridge Island at at the Commodore Options School.  5^th GradeTeam members were Daniel, Kylie, John, Patrick, Haley, Brady, Erik and Wesley.  Each of the 5^th grade teams received five “Excellent” ratings on the math strands.  The 6^th grade team members were Megan, Briana, Kyra, Mikayla, Max and Bryan.  The 6^th grade team received two “Excellent” ratings on the math strands.  All team members expressed excitement and fun at this all-day math event.  Thanks to the coaches and volunteers who helped the teams get to the Math Olympiad.
         
Thanks to the Belfair Elem. PTA, parent volunteers, and a Eagle Scout, a new play area will be available for student use on Thurs., Mar. 6. Here we have our volunteer parents and staff putting together the new playground equipment. This new equipment was put up on the upper playground and all students should have the opportunity to use it. PTA raised the funds for the new equipment through the annual PTA Auction - this year set for Sat., Mar. 8!

Congratulations to the Belfair Elem. PTA who raised over $21,000 with their annual auction on March 8th! Thank you to all the students, families and staff who helped create baskets for the auction!
