Volunteering
Each year, many adults throughout the community make a difference in the lives of our students by volunteering. Whether you have an hour a day, a week or month, we have students, classrooms and schools that can use your help. Parents, community members and business owners are welcome and encouraged to participate.
How You Can Volunteer
Volunteering only takes a few simple steps:
-
The process starts with you telling us a little about yourself and your areas of interest by completing the Volunteer Profile & Disclosure form. (Please print these forms to complete them.) You may also pick up a Volunteer Packet at school buildings.
-
Bring the form, along with your driver's license or military ID, to the Volunteer Coordinator at the school where you want to volunteer or to the District Office, 71 E Campus Drive, Belfair.
-
After your background check is successfully completed, the Volunteer Coordinator will match your expertise, interests, and skills with staff requests for volunteers.
All new volunteers will invited to a group orientation to review NMSD Policies & Procedures.
