Good afternoon North Mason families, staff and community members. As we have seen all too well this week, winter weather is upon us. Current forecasts predict a substantial storm may hit us some time tomorrow, most probably after our students begin their school day. As we all know, (remember the Big Windstorm of 2016) weather is not always that easy to predict. However, the safety of our students is of paramount importance to us. For that reason, I want to let you know that based on weather reports it is very possible we will have to release students early tomorrow to get them home before the roads become too dangerous.
At this time, we plan to begin and end the day as scheduled, but if necessary we will make the decision to release students early as the weather develops. Please plan for a possible early release. As always, we will inform you as soon as possible of any decisions to change our schedule in response to the weather.
